A Mean Filet Mignon - Flavorful Meal Easily Cooked

Ingredients needed: - 1 piece of raw meat (cow tenderloin) - Some butter - Bacon and toothpicks (optional) - Spices (pepper and salt is fine) Cooking meat has always been an art that human kind has been able to do for thousands of years. However, only recently have we been able to make meat taste much better thanks to spices and sauces. If you want to cook a very good Filet Mignon simply follow these simple steps: 1. After you have taken your mean out of the fridge (already defrosted) simply leave it out to room temperature for about 30-60 minutes, then put some spices onto the meat (anything that is meat related you can put on it (like pepper, salt, and meat spices). 1.1 (Optional) If you want to make the traditional filet mignon you can wrap a thin piece of bacon around every side of the filet and to keep it in place secure it with a wet toothpick. 2. To cook this filet you are going to need a frying pan (for grilling instructions follow step 2.2 at bottom), first put some butter on the frying pan and move the pan, then put the fillet on the frying pan. Put the heat on medium - high (if it"s cooking to fast lower it). 3. This part is easy :). Simply cook the meat and every 2-5 minutes check the bottom to make sure it doesn"t burn, then simply flip it over every 6-8 minutes. 4. Now to decide if it is ready or not :). To check if the Filet is ready simply cut it open a bit and check if it is very juicy or not so juicy. If you want you filet to be medium rare take it out when the inside is 1/3 cooked and the rest looks raw. 5. When you decide it is ready simply take it out of the pan and it is ready to be served alongside potatoes, with a sauce, with rice or anything else you choose to eat along with it. 2.2 Instead of putting it in a frying pan simply follow steps 3-5 simply checking the meat every 3-6 minutes and flipping it when you feel it is necessary to flip it :).
