How To Use Metabolism Boosting Foods To Burn Fat Fast

Tired of starving yourself to lose weight? There are many metabolism boosting foods you may or may not be eating that will jumpstart your diet. Including them is super-important. Not only are they fulfilling while being lower in calories, but they have properties that help your body burn calories. Lets start with drinks Water and green tea are amazing. If tea isn"t your thing, try sweetening it with splenda. Lots of cold water is not only detoxifying, but your body will fire up to warm your insides back up. Green tea not only provides natural energy, but will suppress your appetite as well as most diet pills. Combining both throughout the day with and between meals are surefire way to shed fat. Soup is also an amazing addition to your diet. Not only is it filling, but extremely low on calories (as long as you don"t opt for any super heavy varieties). Additionally, the seasonings can give you a metabolism kick to help keep the burn going. Spicy foods. Like the seasoning in soup, spicy foods have been proven to significantly raise your metabolism. Be liberal when applying hot sauce or other spicy condiments to your food - if it"s hot in your mouth it"s hot for your metabolic oven! Low-carb yogurt. Many people make the mistake of picking up the "low fat" variety. Fat is calorie dense, but not nearly as bad as the sugar in normal yogurts. You"d be surprised to know one yogurt has nearly the amount of sugar as a can of soda - and oftentimes it"s corn syrup. Yuck! Sugar kicks your body into fat-storage mode, which easily makes it one of fast metabolism"s worst nightmares. For more on this and how to apply it immediately, see our resource box below.

Two Candy Recipes Suitable for Diabetics
One the the biggest adjustments for me when I was diagnosed as a type 2 diabetic was, in a word--Candy!  As all those who are familiar with my website and writings know, sweets are my weakness.  I could skip the meal just to get to the dessert table and it wouldn"t bother me one bit.  I soon found that "sugar-free" candy cost quite a bit more than regular candy and sometimes it wasn"t very good.  That"s not to say all "sugar-free" candy isn"t good, some of it is downright delicious--and expensive.  So I started working with some of my favorite candy recipes and have come up with some good alternatives.  Below are a couple of my favorites to share with you.
