What you need:
One cup apple juice
One cup crushed ice
One cup vanilla yogurt
Six prunes, pitted
Three fourths teaspoon vanilla extract
One fourth teaspoon cinnamon
One pinch grated nutmeg
Soak the prunes in warm water for fifteen minutes. Drain the prunes and let it cool down. Blend the prunes, apple juice, yogurt and ice. Add cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla extract and blend thoroughly until smooth.
HEALTHY TUMMY SMOOTHIE
What you need:
Three cups milk or milk substitute (soy milk, nut milk, etc.)
One and a half cups plain nonfat yogurt
One large banana
One cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
Half a cup strawberries
Half a cup papaya
Two tablespoons flaxseed oil
Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend well until smooth.
BERRY HEALTHY
What you need:
One cup blackberries
One cup strawberries (stemmed and halved)
One cup blueberries
One cup low-fat vanilla soymilk
One eighth teaspoon ground cinnamon
Three ice cubes
Combine everything in a blender and blend well until smooth. If the berries are not completely ripe, you can sweeten this low fat smoothie by adding stevia or organic honey. Ҡ
APRICOT SUNRISE
What you need:
One cup fresh apricots
Two ounces prune juice
Two tablespoons fresh lemon juice
One teaspoon of mineral whey
One teaspoon of oat bran
Two ice cubes
Combine all the ingredients in a blender. Blend well until smooth. Add distilled water to control its consistency.
ALMOND ALOHA
What you need:
Two cups fresh pineapples
Half a cup apple slices
One medium banana
One fourth cup fresh apple juice
One cup almond milk
Two teaspoons oat bran
Combine everything in a blender. Blend thoroughly until smooth.
