The dangers associated with energy drinks is that they often contain high levels of the mind-altering stimulant, caffeine. Caffeine is an addictive psychotropic that speeds up the signal processes in our brain, causing us to act and react faster. Different brands of energy drinks contain varying levels of caffeine. Please check your ingrediants before ingesting some of these energy drinks as some of them contain very high levels of caffeine. It"s also a very good idea to make sure that if you are going to consume energy drinks, that you do your absolute best to keep them away from young kids. Young kids are not fit to take energy drinks. It"s very dangerous of them to consume them. In a local survey we conducted, we found that 1 in every 3 young adults under the age of 25 drank and consumed energy drinks on a daily basis. That is a staggering fact! It"s very easy to overstimulate the heart and this can cause a host of other health problems, even if you don"t already have any prior heart conditions. Energy drinks are a convenient way to get an instant energy boost. However, they"re a double-edged sword. Consuming too much will give you the jitters, insomnia, nervousness and cause you irritability. So take note people, drink more water and have an appropriate diet plan in action and you will not require these dangerous energy drinks.
